Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Macao on Wednesday afternoon to attend a gathering marking the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to China.
As the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, Xi will be present at the inauguration ceremony of the sixth-term government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR).
During his stay, Xi will also conduct an inspection tour, highlighting the continued development and prosperity of the Macao SAR over the past quarter-century.
