On Tuesday night, the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) announced a ceasefire, expressing its willingness to participate in peace talks with the Myanmar army under China’s mediation. Lin Jian praised the MNDAA's \"recent positive remarks,\" highlighting the importance of prioritizing stability in the region.
He further stressed that all parties must ensure the safety and security of China’s border areas, protect Chinese residents living nearby, and safeguard Chinese projects, companies, and personnel operating in Myanmar. Lin reiterated China's commitment to supporting the peace process in northern Myanmar and assured continued efforts to facilitate ongoing dialogue.
