China and Germany marked a significant milestone this year as they celebrated the 10th anniversary of their all-round strategic partnership. Baerbock also acknowledged China's active role in combating climate change, a critical area of mutual interest. On the economic front, Wang Yi criticized the European Union's high tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, describing them as violations of fair competition and free trade principles. He urged the EU and Germany to adopt a positive and pragmatic approach toward China, resolving trade disputes through dialogue and negotiation.
