A vibrant addition to China's art scene, the 'China in Art' gallery officially opened its doors on Wednesday in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Nestled in the picturesque Zhenlu Village, renowned for its ancient silk artifacts dating back over 4,700 years, the gallery offers a stunning showcase of contemporary Chinese art.
The expansive venue is thoughtfully divided into several sections, including a painting and calligraphy hall, a sculpture hall, and an immersive experience space. Visitors can explore 125 masterpieces created by some of the country's most acclaimed calligraphers, sculptors, and painters.
Notable figures in the art world have lauded the gallery's opening. Wu Weishan, curator of the National Art Museum of China, and Remy Aron, president of the French Association of Arts, among others, extended their congratulations through video messages.
The exhibition features generous contributions from esteemed artists like Liu Wanming and Chen Jialing, whose works add significant prestige to the gallery's collection. 'China in Art' aims to become a central hub for art enthusiasts and a bridge between traditional heritage and modern artistic expression.
