China to Repatriate 43 Martyrs’ Remains from South Korea on Nov 28

China is preparing to repatriate the remains of 43 Chinese People’s Volunteers (CPV) martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. The return is scheduled for November 28, according to China's Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

A dedicated Chinese delegation, accompanied by the Guard of Honor of the People's Liberation Army and a transport aircraft, has departed for the Republic of Korea to oversee the handover mission.

On the morning of November 28, a solemn ceremony will take place at a temporary storage facility in Incheon. During the ceremony, the coffins will be sealed, and the transfer documents for the martyrs' remains will be finalized.

The Chinese delegation, alongside the Chinese Embassy in the ROK, will conduct a memorial service at Incheon International Airport. Following this, the remains will be transported to China by aircraft. Upon arrival in Shenyang, a formal welcome ceremony will be held at Shenyang Taoxian Airport, culminating in a heartfelt burial ceremony at a local cemetery on November 29.
