The Communist Party of China (CPC) and political parties from Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) gathered in Beijing on Monday for the CPC, CEEC Political Parties 2024 event. Nearly 50 representatives from 19 political parties across 12 CEEC nations attended the summit.
Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, highlighted the CPC's commitment to deepening strategic and theoretical communication with CEEC political parties. He emphasized the intention to leverage existing cooperation platforms and enhance the quality and effectiveness of China-CEEC collaboration.
Foreign attendees acknowledged China's unique development path as an alternative model for global growth. They expressed eagerness to strengthen exchanges and dialogue with the CPC to foster mutual understanding and advance Europe-China relations.
