China’s Han Zheng Champions Global Supply Chain Cooperation at CISCE 2024

At the opening ceremony of the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng emphasized the importance of global collaboration in supply chains. Running from November 26 to 30, CISCE 2024 serves as a pivotal platform for industry leaders and experts to discuss and promote international cooperation.

Han Zheng presented a three-point proposal focusing on win-win cooperation, optimization and upgrading of supply chains, and the green transition of global industrial processes. He highlighted China's commitment to economic globalization and its dedication to enhancing business and industrial capacity cooperation with other nations.

Emphasizing innovation-driven development, Han discussed China's efforts to accelerate the creation of new quality productive forces and foster deeper integration within industrial and supply chains. He also pointed to the country's willingness to partner with others in expanding cooperation in green industries and clean energy, aiming to boost global sustainable development.

Han Zheng noted that China has long been an active participant in global industrial and supply chain cooperation, making significant contributions to the world economy. He reiterated China's readiness to collaborate with other countries to build an open global economic system, ensuring stable and unimpeded supply chains worldwide.

Themed \"Connecting the World for a Shared Future,\" the expo's opening ceremony was attended by approximately 1,100 participants, reflecting the event's significance in fostering international supply chain partnerships.
