The ethnic aerobics event of the 12th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the Chinese mainland officially kicked off on Sunday in Sanya City, Hainan Province. In the first round of the compulsory routine, athletes from delegations across the country demonstrated the grace of ethnic dances as well as the dynamism of aerobics in a series of spins, jumps and flips. The event drew hundreds of spectators to the stadium to watch.
