During Chinese Premier Xi Jinping's state visit to Brazil on Wednesday, China and Brazil signed 38 cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening their bilateral ties.
A significant outcome was a joint statement elevating the relationship to a community with a shared future, emphasizing the pursuit of a more just world and a sustainable planet.
The 37 additional agreements focus on aligning the development strategies of both nations. This includes accelerating the integration of China’s Belt and Road Initiative with Brazil’s New Growth Acceleration Program, Neo-industrialization Plan, Ecological Transformation Plan, and South American Integration Route Plan.
Furthermore, the agreements pave the way for collaboration across various sectors such as industrial investment, bio-economy, ecological transition and green development, artificial intelligence, the photovoltaic industry, agriculture and livestock, mineral energy, tourism, health, and sports.
