Tianzhou-8: China’s Next Cargo Spacecraft Launch Scheduled for Friday

China is gearing up to launch the Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site at 11:13 p.m. Beijing time this Friday, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).

The Wenchang Space Launch Site is currently experiencing minimal winds and no thunderstorm activity, creating optimal meteorological conditions for the upcoming launch.

The Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft, paired with the Long March-7 Y9 carrier rocket, is securely held by the launch tower. Observers can see white vapor emanating from the structure, a common phenomenon after the rocket is injected with cryogenic propellant.

With the fueling process now complete, the rocket stands ready for liftoff. Yao Ruijuan, a member of the rocket testing team, stated, \"All systems are proceeding in an orderly manner according to the workflow. The rocket is in good condition, and ground equipment is operating smoothly, meeting the requirements for the launch mission.\"
