On November 6, the 2024 Forum on Dialogue between the Civilizations of China and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) convened in Lima, Peru. Bringing together over 150 political leaders, scholars, and business representatives from China, Peru, Argentina, and more than ten other Latin American countries, the forum centered on the theme \"Civilizational Heritage and Modern Development.\" Participants engaged in insightful discussions aimed at promoting cultural exchanges, preserving and developing shared heritage, providing intellectual support, and exploring cooperative avenues for modernization.
Simultaneously, Lima hosted the launch ceremony of the China Hour TV program and China Audiovisual Month. Transitioning to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro celebrated the launch of the photo album and exhibition \"Beautiful China, Beautiful Brazil.\" This showcase highlights the natural beauty, rich history, vibrant culture, strong economic ties, cultural exchanges, and collaborative achievements that bind China and Brazil.
Furthering the cultural dialogue, the University of Sao Paulo held an exchange activity on Tuesday.
