The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China, kicked off on Tuesday in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. The event has attracted over 1,000 companies from 47 countries and regions, highlighting its global significance.
Running through Sunday, the airshow promises an exhilarating lineup of aerial displays, featuring approximately four hours of flight performances each day. Enthusiasts and professionals alike are gearing up for a week of high-flying action and technological showcases.
The opening act was delivered by the esteemed Bayi (August 1) Aerobatic Team of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force. Six J-10C fighter jets took to the skies, painting the air with vibrant red, yellow, and blue smoke trails. The team performed a series of precise formations and stunts, including the impressive \"double aircraft fly-past\" and wide-radius rolls. This marks their 11th appearance at the airshow and the debut of the new J-10C fighter.
The J-10C is a third-generation modified supersonic, multirole fighter developed domestically. Equipped with advanced avionics and weaponry, it excels in short- and medium-range air supremacy missions and precise strikes against ground and maritime targets. The J-10C made its public debut during the PLA's 90th anniversary celebrations in July 2017.
