PLA Air Force Commemorates 75th Anniversary at 15th Airshow China

On November 11, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force marked its 75th founding anniversary with a series of celebratory activities.

Senior Colonel Xie Peng, spokesperson for the PLA Air Force, announced that the festivities include participation in the 15th Airshow China. The event will showcase impressive flight performances, static equipment displays, and themed military music performances.

The PLA Air Force is sending 36 types of equipment to the air show, featuring both flight performances and ground static displays. Among them are 26 aircraft across seven types, including the advanced J-20 and J-16 fighter jets and the YY-20A reconnaissance aircraft.

The event will highlight the skills of the Bayi Aerobatic Team and the Red Eagle Aerobatic Team. The Red Eagle team will present nine JL-8 aircraft, with eight designated for performances and one standby. Depending on weather conditions, the team has prepared three sets of over 20 aerobatic maneuvers, ensuring a dynamic and engaging spectacle for attendees.
