China’s 15th Airshow Unveils New Stealth Fighter J-35A

The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, widely known as Airshow China, is set to take flight on November 12 in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. Spanning six days, the event promises a spectacular showcase of China's latest advancements in aviation and aerospace technology.

Attendees can expect to see an impressive lineup of new aircraft, including the cutting-edge fighter jets J-35A, J-15T, and J-15D. Among these, the J-35A stealth fighter jet stands out as the star attraction, capturing the attention of military enthusiasts and industry experts alike.

The J-35A made headlines recently after completing its first adaptive training session in Zhuhai on November 8. This milestone marks a significant step in China's pursuit of advanced stealth technology. According to military expert Li Li in an interview with China Media Group, the J-35A is China's second stealth fighter jet, complementing the already impressive J-20. This development positions China as the second nation, following the United States, to field two distinct types of stealth fighters.

Looking ahead, Li Li suggests that the J-35 series could see further expansion, potentially evolving into carrier-based aircraft. This evolution would enhance China's naval aviation capabilities, reflecting the country's broader ambitions in both military and aerospace sectors.

As Airshow China 2023 approaches, the global audience remains eager to witness China's latest aerospace innovations and to understand the country's strategic advancements in military aviation.
