Shenzhen Airport Launches Visa-Free Pilot, Welcomes Travelers from 9 Countries

Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport saw a significant milestone on Friday morning as it welcomed its first visa-free inbound passenger. This event marks the inception of China's pilot visa-free policy, allowing ordinary passport holders from nine specific countries to enter the country without a visa for up to 15 days.

The countries benefiting from this initiative include Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, and South Korea. This policy aims to facilitate easier travel for tourists, business professionals, and digital nomads looking to explore the dynamic city of Shenzhen and its surrounding regions.

By implementing this visa-free entry, China seeks to promote international tourism, strengthen economic ties, and provide a seamless experience for visitors from these nations. Travelers can now enjoy a more straightforward entry process, fostering greater connectivity and cultural exchange between China and the participating countries.
