Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang is set to embark on a significant diplomatic journey to Singapore and Azerbaijan this November. Invited by Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, Ding will visit Singapore on November 10 and 11.
During his visit, Ding will co-chair several high-level meetings aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation. These include the 20th meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation, the 25th meeting of the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council (JSC), the 16th meeting of the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City JSC, and the eighth meeting of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity JSC.
Following his engagements in Singapore, Ding will travel to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Abdulla oglu Mustafayev. There, he will represent Chinese President Xi Jinping as a special representative at the World Leaders Climate Action Summit on November 12 and 13. This summit underscores the global commitment to addressing climate change and fostering sustainable development.
Ding's visits highlight China's ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and collaborate on pressing global issues such as climate action and sustainable urban development. These high-level meetings are expected to pave the way for enhanced economic cooperation and strategic initiatives between China, Singapore, and Azerbaijan.
