Chinese President Xi to Attend APEC and G20 Summits, Visit Peru and Brazil

Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to embark on a significant international journey from November 13 to 21. Starting in Lima, Xi will attend the 31st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting from November 13 to 17. This event gathers leaders from the Asia-Pacific region to discuss economic cooperation and growth.

At the invitation of Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, Xi will also pay a state visit to Peru during his time in Lima. This visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two nations.

Following his engagements in Peru, President Xi will travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from November 17 to 21 to participate in the 19th G20 Summit. Invited by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Xi's visit to Brazil underscores the importance of global economic partnerships and the role of emerging markets in shaping the world economy.

These high-profile visits highlight China's commitment to fostering international cooperation and addressing global challenges through multilateral platforms.
