Congratulations to 7-year-old Zhang Tianxin from the United States for winning the Grand Prize in the 'China Through My Eyes' Global Children's Art Project with her artwork 'Tianxin's Journey Across China!'
In the summer of 2024, Tianxin spent four weeks creating a marker drawing that captures the essence of her first trip to China. Her artwork showcases famous landmarks from cities across China, such as the Great Wall and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, the Tianjin Eye Ferris wheel, Chengdu 339 TV Tower, the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, and Jinma Biji Square in Kunming.
In the vibrant scene, Tianxin imagines exploring China with other tourists, as well as a cat driver and its companions navigating the streets.
