Since October 2024, Jimunai Port has served as the region's exclusive gateway for live king crab, thanks to priority customs clearance, arrival inspection, and fast-track release. These measures ensure the crabs arrive fresh and ready for market.
Arctic king crabs are either shipped directly to consumers in major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai or held in temperature-controlled tanks before distribution. This streamlined process reduces spoilage and guarantees top quality.
