For the first time, Slovenia sent its largest-ever business delegation to the event, underscoring a growing interest in Sino-Slovenian trade.
Marko Lotrič, President of the National Council of Slovenia, spoke with CGTN's Michael Wang during the expo. Lotrič highlighted the delegation's hope that CIIE will serve as a launchpad for long-term partnerships between companies from Slovenia and the Chinese mainland. "We're looking to deepen Slovenia's economic cooperation with the Chinese mainland and build lasting connections," he said.
