Beijing Supply Chain Expo Secures 6,000+ Global Partnerships

The third China International Supply Chain Expo wrapped up in Beijing on Sunday with a bang: more than 6,000 cooperation agreements and partnership intentions signed, organizers announced at the closing press conference.

Over five days, 1,200 exhibitors from home and abroad showcased the latest in logistics, tech and sustainability solutions to a crowd of over 210,000 attendees (both in person and online)—a 5 percent bump from last year. The expo ran 24,000 targeted matchmaking sessions—four times more than 2023—connecting businesses with tailored partners and supply chain scenarios.

Exhibitors rolled out 152 new products, technologies and services—a 67 percent jump from the previous edition—and forged ties with more than 42,000 upstream and downstream companies. International exhibitors rose to 35 percent of the total, up from 26 percent at the first CISCE, with strong representation from the US, the EU and Japan. Over 65 percent of participants were Global Fortune 500 firms or sector leaders.

Li Xingqian, vice-chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, explained the expo\u0019s shift: "We\u0019re not chasing short-term on-site transaction volumes. Our focus is on fostering long-term mutually beneficial partnerships." He added that the event offers a window into the Chinese mainland\u0019s supply chain strengths.

With the fourth edition already attracting 102 companies—a 50 percent increase in early sign-ups—the CISCE is set to cement its role as a global gateway for supply chain innovation and collaboration.
