Guangzhou Fuels Tech, Culture & Gaming with New Copyright Hub

Guangzhou in Guangdong Province on the Chinese mainland is revamping its business landscape to spark fresh growth in tech, cultural and gaming sectors. At the heart of this shift is the South China Copyright Service Hall, now offering tailored copyright training, end-to-end services and innovative financing solutions.

Located in Huangpu District, the Service Hall taps into an integrated copyright ecosystem, aiming to evolve into a powerhouse for cultural, creative and tech enterprises throughout the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and surrounding regions. By bridging IP protection with capital access, it helps startups and established players safeguard their ideas and scale faster.

Data underscores this momentum. According to the National Copyright Administration of the Chinese mainland, over 10.63 million copyright registrations were filed in 2024—a 19.13% jump year-on-year. Registrations for computer software alone hit nearly 2.83 million, marking a 13.31% rise. These figures highlight a booming IP environment poised to reshape digital innovation and creative projects on a global scale.
