Boao Forum 2025: Shaping Asia’s Shared Future

The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 is set to light up the global stage. Scheduled for March 25-28 in Boao, in the south of the Chinese mainland's Hainan Province, this dynamic event carries the theme "Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future." With a focus on fostering dialogue, innovative formats, and tangible outcomes, the forum aims to boost international development and cooperation.

The conference agenda spans four key areas: building trust and promoting cooperation in a rapidly changing world; re-balancing globalization for inclusive development; accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals to effectively tackle global challenges; and strengthening AI application and governance to drive innovation. Participants include leaders from international and regional organizations, ministerial-level officials, Fortune Global 500 entrepreneurs, and renowned experts and scholars, all converging to exchange ideas and forge collaborative solutions.

Jiang Ying, Deloitte China chair and a national political advisor, underscored Asia's role as a pivotal engine for global economic growth amid both opportunities and challenges. He emphasized that the BFA has consistently served as an open, inclusive platform that builds consensus, deepens regional cooperation, and addresses complex global issues. Similarly, Denis Depoux, global managing director at Roland Berger, pointed out that the forum's commitment to dialogue and progress is crucial for navigating today’s turbulent global environment.

Since its establishment in 2001, the BFA has evolved into a vital forum for multilateral engagement, offering a space where visionary dialogue meets actionable outcomes. As the world grapples with rapid changes and emerging challenges, the 2025 conference is poised to play a key role in shaping a cooperative and prosperous future for Asia and beyond.
