China Declares No Winners in U.S. Trade War Amid New Tariffs

China has firmly stated that there are no winners in the ongoing trade war with the United States, following the U.S. government's recent imposition of an additional 10% tariff on Chinese goods.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian addressed the issue on Wednesday, expressing strong dissatisfaction and opposition to the U.S.'s latest move. Lin emphasized that applying pressure through tariffs is not the appropriate method for managing bilateral relations.

Highlighting the negative impacts of the trade conflict, Lin urged the United States to rectify its practices and address mutual concerns through equal and fair consultations. He called for the promotion of stable, healthy, and sustainable development in China-U.S. relations.

This statement underscores China's commitment to resolving trade disputes through dialogue and cooperation, aiming to foster a more balanced and mutually beneficial economic relationship between the two global powers.
