Chinese Premier Li Qiang Outlines Plans for 2025 Economic Boost

During his inspection in Jinan, Shandong Province, Chinese Premier Li Qiang emphasized the importance of effective policy implementation to ensure a strong start for the country's 2025 economic development.

In a visit to a home appliance store, Li discussed the government's consumer goods trade-in scheme. He noted that this initiative is key to meeting people's needs for a high-quality life, unlocking consumption potential, promoting industry upgrades, and facilitating economic circulation.

Li assured that China will continue to support this initiative with enhanced measures, optimizing procedures to make consumer spending more convenient and effective.

The premier also visited a charging and battery-swapping station, where he observed the growth of intelligent connected new-energy vehicles in the country. He encouraged innovative efforts in developing charging and battery-swapping services, highlighting their role in the future of transportation.

Furthermore, Premier Li called for deepening the reform of the energy management system, transforming the energy sector, and fostering new drivers of growth to ensure long-term economic resilience and sustainability.
