China's major industrial enterprises experienced a narrower decline in profits in November, with total profits decreasing by 7.3 percent year on year to 799.4 billion yuan ($109.5 billion), compared to a 10 percent drop in October. These figures are based on calculations by CGTN using data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
Among the notable growth areas, the nonferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry saw a significant profit increase of 20.2 percent. Additionally, the electricity, heat production, and supply industries reported a robust rise of 13.5 percent in profits.
The textile industry also made gains, with profits growing by 4.6 percent, while the computer, communication, and electronic equipment manufacturing sectors saw a 2.9 percent increase.
