China's Push for Rural Connectivity
On November 29, the Chinese mainland's State Council Information Office released a white paper titled \"China's Rural Roads in the New Era.\" The document highlights the significant strides made in developing rural transportation networks as part of ongoing poverty alleviation programs and policies.
\"If you want to become better off, build a road,\" the white paper emphasizes. Over the past decade, more than 1,100 townships and 45,000 administrative villages have been integrated into the rural transport networks. This extensive infrastructure development has ensured that all townships and administrative villages with suitable conditions now have access to bus services.
These interconnected roads not only facilitate easier movement for residents but also stimulate economic growth, enhance access to essential services, and improve the overall quality of life in these regions.
