Beijing is set to welcome the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) from November 26 to 30, aiming to foster international cooperation within industrial and supply chains. Spanning over 100,000 square meters, the expo will feature more than 600 exhibitors, with international participants making up 32 percent of the total. This marks an increase from 26 percent in the inaugural expo held last year, according to a Chinese trade official.
As the world's first national-level exhibition dedicated to supply chains, CISCE seeks to bridge upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. The event will bring together enterprises of various sizes, facilitating better integration into global industrial and supply chains. Zhang Shaogang, deputy director of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, highlighted at a press conference on October 28 that the expo aims to connect diverse industries and support companies in navigating the global market.
This year, U.S. companies will represent the largest group of overseas participants, while the number of exhibitors from Europe and Japan is also expected to surpass those of the first expo. Zhang noted that this increase in international participation reflects ongoing optimism among foreign investors regarding the outlook of the Chinese market. He emphasized that China continues to be a top supply chain partner for global resource allocation.
