The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), recognized as the world's largest import fair, concluded in Shanghai on Sunday with tentative deals valued at $80.1 billion, marking a 2% rise from the previous year.
This edition of CIIE was a melting pot of global talents, featuring country exhibitions from 77 nations and international organizations spanning five continents. On the business side, the expo broke records by hosting nearly 3,500 companies from 129 countries and regions, including a remarkable 297 Fortune 500 firms and leading industry innovators.
By noon on Sunday, the event had already welcomed 852,000 enthusiastic visitors, showcasing Shanghai's pivotal role in the global trade arena and highlighting the ever-growing network of international partnerships fueling economic development.
