IKEA is making waves on the global stage with its products designed and manufactured in China. At the seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, Cindy Ruan, vice president of IKEA China, highlighted the company's distinctive innovation capabilities.
\"We have seen that many of our products designed and manufactured in China have become global hits,\" Ruan announced at a recent press event.
Last year, IKEA's exhibition stand at CIIE welcomed 40,000 visitors. This year, just before her arrival, the stand had already attracted an additional 10,000 visitors. Ruan emphasized that the high volume of attendees provides invaluable immediate feedback on their products.
\"I don't believe any other exhibition in China can facilitate as many high-level dialogues as CIIE. Such dialogues are very meaningful for companies,\" she stated. \"They help us understand the current focus of attention in our industry and society.\"
