Finland is set to strengthen its international trade presence as Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio heads a delegation to the upcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
\"China is an important trading partner for Finland, so it is useful to support export promotion and trade in sectors that benefit Finnish businesses. This is the fourth time that Finland has a national pavilion at the CIIE,\" Tavio stated in a press release.
The CIIE, held annually in Shanghai, serves as a key platform for global trade exhibitions and business exchanges. Finnish businesses have a significant footprint in the region, with Shanghai hosting the largest cluster of Finnish enterprises in China.
From November 4 to 8, Tavio will lead the delegation through Shanghai and Shenzhen, before concluding their visit in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This trip underscores Finland's commitment to expanding its global trade networks and supporting its businesses in emerging markets.
