In a significant move towards enhancing regional trade, Guizhou Province has commenced its first direct export of locally produced new energy buses to Laos. On Monday, a train carrying 28 China-made buses departed from the Dulaying International Land-Sea Logistics Port in Guiyang, Guizhou, bound for Vientiane via the China-Laos Railway.
According to Zhang Yongjun, general manager of Guiyang International Land Port Company, this new logistics channel provides a dedicated and efficient route for Guizhou's automobile exports to Laos, fostering further trade and cooperation between the regions. The initial shipment is expected to arrive in Vientiane within seven days.
The export initiative doesn't stop there. A second train carrying 27 additional new energy buses is scheduled to depart on Tuesday, bringing the total number of buses exported to 55 in two batches. This strategic export plan highlights Guizhou's commitment to expanding its presence in emerging markets and promoting sustainable transportation solutions in Laos.
