The 2024 China-Europe Talent Forum unfolded in Beijing on Tuesday, bringing together 240 professionals from diverse sectors such as research, education, business, and technology. The event underscored the importance of expanding exchanges between China and Europe to foster shared prosperity.

In an insightful interview with CGTN's Hu Binyi, Jürg Burri, Switzerland's ambassador to China, emphasized the critical need for the future workforce to adapt to emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. He highlighted that staying ahead in tech innovation is essential for global competitiveness.

Dominique Turpin, the European president of the China Europe International Business School, pointed to leading Chinese companies such as Huawei and BYD as prime examples of organizations successfully attracting top global talent. Turpin stressed that these companies are at the forefront of innovation, making them magnets for ambitious professionals worldwide.

Adding to the discourse, Antonio Miguel Carmona, president of Spain's Friends of China Association, advocated for the sharing of resources between China and Europe. He argued that pooling talents and resources is vital for cultivating a robust global talent pool, which is essential for sustaining economic growth and technological advancement.
