The Chinese mainland is set to open its doors wider to businesses and entrepreneurs as the top economic planner announces significant reforms to improve the market access system. Zhao Chenxin, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), revealed during a press conference on Thursday that a new version of the market access negative list will be published soon.
These changes are part of a broader initiative to relax market access restrictions, allowing more business entities to thrive in the rapidly evolving economy. Zhao emphasized that the NDRC will roll out special measures aimed at easing barriers, with plans to further relax market access across the nation.
In addition to removing constraints, the NDRC is committed to building a unified national market. This involves dismantling local protectionism and reducing market segmentation, ensuring that businesses can operate seamlessly across different regions.
\"We will continuously stimulate the intrinsic momentum and innovative vitality of the entire society and inject a steady stream of momentum into the advancement of modernization with Chinese characteristics,\" Zhao stated.
With these reforms, the Chinese mainland aims to provide a broader development space for various enterprises, reinforcing its confidence in achieving the year's growth targets. The initiative underscores the country's dedication to fostering an environment conducive to innovation and sustainable economic growth.
