The \"Global Opportunities in Deepening China's Reform in the New Era\" Global Dialogue Series U.S. session was successfully held by China Media Group (CMG) in New York on Monday.
Key figures such as Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and president of CMG, Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng, and Robert Lawrence Kuhn, chairman of the Kuhn Foundation, attended the event. Nearly 100 representatives from the U.S. political, business, and academic communities participated, fostering a robust exchange of ideas.
Shen emphasized the significance of comprehensively deepening reform, stating that CMG is dedicated to narrating China's journey of reform and modernization. He highlighted CMG's role in building bridges for exchange, dialogue, and mutual learning between China and the global community.
\"CMG will continue to actively shoulder its responsibilities as a media outlet, promote cultural exchanges, carry out extensive cooperation with cultural institutions, international organizations and think tanks, and share the world opportunities in deepening China's reform in the new era,\" Shen noted.
Ambassador Xie Feng elaborated on the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, describing it as a blueprint for advancing Chinese modernization through comprehensive reform. He stressed the importance of China and the United States complementing each other to promote a sound, stable, and sustainable bilateral relationship based on mutual respect, peaceful co-existence, and win-win cooperation.
Robert Lawrence Kuhn, a recipient of the China Reform Friendship Medal, affirmed China's unwavering commitment to reform and opening up. He expressed confidence in China's development prospects and encouraged the American business community to embrace the opportunities arising from China's reforms and invest in the country.
