China and Nicaragua Team Up for 17th China-LAC Business Summit

The 17th China-Latin America Business Summit is set to take place later this year in Managua, the vibrant capital of Nicaragua. This pivotal event aims to strengthen economic ties between China and Latin America, fostering deeper collaboration and mutual growth.

Earlier in Beijing, a promotional event was held to kickstart the summit preparations. Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Michael Campbell, Nicaragua's Ambassador to China, signed a memorandum of understanding, underscoring their commitment to enhancing trade relations. The event also showcased the second China International Supply Chain Expo, highlighting the innovative strides in global supply chains.

Over recent years, economic and trade cooperation between China and Latin America has significantly expanded in scale and scope, reaching new heights. The summit serves as a cornerstone for these bilateral relations, providing a platform for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and policymakers to explore emerging opportunities and drive sustainable economic development.
