Businessmen from various parts of the world have converged in northwest of the Chinese mainland's Xinjiang, showcasing exquisite goods such as French wine, Serbian coffee, Australian chocolate, and Ghanaian drums.
The 8th China-Eurasia Expo, held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center nestled at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, kicked off on Wednesday in the regional capital of Urumqi.
Under the theme \"New Opportunities of Silk Road, New Vitality for Eurasian Cooperation,\" the expo will continue until Sunday. It has attracted over 1,900 participants from 50 countries, regions, and international organizations, featuring more than 6,000 varieties of products.
Having been successfully organized seven times previously, the expo has emerged as a crucial platform for economic and trade cooperation between the Chinese mainland and Eurasian countries, stated Gao Yunlong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, during the opening ceremony.
