Chinese Premier Advocates Global Cooperation for New Economic Growth

In a pivotal meeting with Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Chinese Premier Li Qiang emphasized the importance of global collaboration to drive economic growth. Speaking in Dalian, Liaoning Province, Li urged nations to adopt an open mindset and enhance mutually beneficial partnerships.

Amid a sluggish global economic recovery, Premier Li highlighted the need to identify new growth drivers. He pointed to technological breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and green energy as key sectors that will spearhead future economic expansion. Li introduced China's \"artificial intelligence+\" initiative, aiming to boost economic development through the extensive integration of AI technologies.

Addressing the challenges posed by economic decoupling and the erection of international barriers, Li stressed that interconnected economies can achieve collective progress. He cautioned that isolationist policies would lead to stagnation rather than advancement.

Klaus Schwab echoed these sentiments, stating that strengthening international cooperation is more crucial than ever in the current complex global landscape. He assured that the WEF is committed to working closely with China to ensure the stable and healthy development of the world economy and to collaboratively tackle global challenges.
