China and South Korea Strengthen Economic Ties with Samsung Collaboration

Chinese Premier Li Qiang emphasized the crucial role of economic and trade cooperation in strengthening relations between China and South Korea. Speaking at the ninth Trilateral Summit Meeting in Seoul, Li highlighted the deep interconnection of industrial and supply chains between the two nations, describing them as a community of interests.

During his meeting with Lee Jae-yong, chairman of Samsung Group, Li commended Samsung's collaboration with China as a prime example of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. He encouraged both Chinese and South Korean enterprises to explore new avenues of cooperation in areas such as high-end manufacturing, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, green development, and biomedicine.

Li also reaffirmed China's commitment to maintaining an open mega-market, welcoming South Korean companies like Samsung to expand their investments and partnerships in China. He stressed that foreign enterprises are vital to China's development and will continue to find ample opportunities in the country's evolving market landscape.

In response, Lee assured that Samsung will persist in its development efforts within China, contributing to the ongoing mutually beneficial cooperation between China and South Korea.
