Progress is speeding along the Hungary-Serbia Railway as track-laying work for a crucial 108-kilometer section between Novi Sad and Subotica in Serbia wrapped up this Thursday.
This segment serves as a vital link between Belgrade and Budapest, highlighting the significance of the Hungary-Serbia Railway within the broader Belt and Road Initiative framework. Spanning a total of 341.7 kilometers, the railway features 183.1 kilometers in Serbian territory.
Currently, the construction of the Novi Sad-Subotica section stands at 80 percent completion, marking a significant milestone in enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth across the region.
