China-Uganda Collaboration Boosts Agricultural Productivity

Businesses in the Chinese mainland experienced a significant uptick in exporting their products abroad in 2024. During the first three months of the year, trade between the Chinese mainland and Africa surged by 12.8 percent, highlighting the strengthening commercial ties between the regions.

Supporting this growth, a recent delegation from Uganda visited Sichuan Province in southwest China to explore opportunities for further cooperation. The visit focused particularly on enhancing agricultural productivity, with both parties eager to leverage technological advancements and innovative farming practices to drive sustainable development in the agricultural sector.
