Additionally, they offered insights and recommendations on developing circular and green economies, optimizing the business environment in China, and enhancing people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign nations.

Premier Li extended his appreciation for the long-term and active participation of overseas enterprises in the Canton Fair. He acknowledged the vigorous economic and trade cooperation between these enterprises and the Chinese mainland, noting that many overseas businesses have established strong connections with China and have grown alongside its development.

Li emphasized that the history of the Canton Fair is a testament to global companies sharing China's opportunities and achieving mutual benefits. He described the fair as a microcosm of China’s continuous opening up and active integration into the international market.

The Premier affirmed that China will steadfastly continue to open wider to the outside world, promoting the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment. He expressed high expectations that these enterprises will continue to explore the Chinese market, expand their business within China, and take advantage of the substantial market demand, thereby acting as ambassadors of friendship to enhance mutual understanding and beneficial cooperation between China and other nations.

The Premier also assured that China will promote the alignment of high-standard international economic and trade rules, continue to expand market access, and ensure that foreign-funded enterprises receive equal treatment compared to their domestic counterparts. He committed to strengthening service guarantees for foreign investment and intellectual property protection, earnestly safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of foreign companies in China, and providing more support and convenience for international businesspeople and foreigners living and working in the Chinese mainland.
