Green and Low-Carbon Development
China is set to drive economic growth through green and low-carbon initiatives, creating a $1.4 trillion annual market for investment and consumption. Zhao pointed out that nearly half of the world’s installed photovoltaic power generation capacity and more than half of the world’s new energy vehicles are in China. Additionally, a quarter of the global increase in new forested areas originates from China.
Advancing Modernization through High-Quality Development
By pursuing high-quality development, China aims to propel modernization across all fronts, which in turn will boost global economic recovery and open up more opportunities for development, particularly among neighboring Asian countries.
Preventing Geopolitical Conflicts
Zhao called on Asian nations to remain united against unilateralism and extreme egotism, advocating for the prevention of geopolitical confrontations. He urged countries to oppose trade protectionism, the erection of barriers, and decoupling in all forms to ensure a stable and cooperative global environment.
