The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command has ramped up combat readiness patrols in the territorial waters and airspace surrounding Huangyan Dao. On the same day, the China Coast Guard (CCG) intensified its law enforcement patrols around Huangyan Dao, reiterating its commitment to safeguarding China’s maritime rights and interests. The CCG emphasized that these increased patrols are part of ongoing efforts to maintain control over critical maritime regions and uphold national security.
