Changchun Ice and Snow World Unveils 1.56M㎡ Winter Wonderland

Last weekend, on the evening of December 19, Changchun Ice and Snow World officially opened its gates in the Chinese mainland’s Jilin province, marking the start of the 2025–2026 winter season. Spanning 1.56 million square meters, the park boasts 760,000 square meters of interactive amusement space filled with towering ice sculptures and winding snow corridors.

As dusk fell, the landscape transformed into a dreamlike kingdom of ice and snow. LED lights cast brilliant hues across crystalline castles, cultural motifs and frosted chandeliers, while projection mapping brought static sculptures to life. Visitors can glide down snow slides, navigate ice mazes and discover hidden art installations around every corner.

For global travelers and digital nomads, Changchun Ice and Snow World offers more than just photo ops—it’s a hub for immersive winter experiences. Local vendors serve warming snacks and handcrafted souvenirs, and pop-up markets showcase regional culture. Organizers have also implemented eco-friendly practices, from solar-powered lighting to water recycling systems that repurpose meltwater for spring landscaping.

Whether you’re a winter sports enthusiast, art aficionado or simply chasing your next viral shot, this icy playground invites you to explore and share. Tickets are available online, with evening hours providing the best backdrop for illuminated adventures.
