On November 26 this year, authorities in the Chinese mainland’s Yantian Port in Shenzhen intercepted a suspicious international container carrying 430 kilograms of cocaine.
The operation followed a tip from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), underscoring the value of real-time intelligence sharing in combating transnational drug trafficking.
Customs officers uncovered dozens of sealed packages concealed within the container’s interior during detailed inspections.
The case is now under further investigation as agencies work to trace the shipment’s origin and intended destination.
