With the countdown to the 2025 Cross-Strait CEO Summit underway, business leaders from the Chinese mainland and the Taiwan region are gearing up to explore collaboration opportunities under China's upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
Scheduled for December 16 and 17 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the summit will bring together nearly 800 participants—including summit council members, entrepreneurs from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and industry experts—to chart new paths for industrial and supply chain integration.
Meanwhile, on December 2, Fujian Province rolled out its fifth batch of measures to strengthen cross-strait development. The 12 targeted initiatives focus on:
- Guaranteeing land and sea-use for Taiwan-invested projects;
- Launching a smart tax-service platform to streamline filings for Taiwan businesses;
- Supporting Taiwan entrepreneurs in opening Sha County (Shaxian) snack outlets in Taiwan;
- Boosting trade, cultural, and tourism exchanges.
Since September 2023, Fujian has implemented 74 measures across five phases, steadily improving the experience for residents and businesses from Taiwan.
Together, the CEO summit and Fujian's policies underscore a broader push for stability, trust, and shared prosperity across the Taiwan Strait through sustained dialogue, cooperation, and institutional innovation.
