On November 28, 2025, a revised edition of the study outline for Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy was published.
Co-organized by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new version builds on the 2021 edition.
The 2025 edition comprises 14 chapters and totals about 103,000 characters. It offers a comprehensive overview of the original contributions and latest developments of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in diplomacy.
It systematically elaborates on the historical context, core concepts and practical achievements of Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thought.
The book was jointly published by the People’s Publishing House and Xuexi Publishing House.
As a key resource for scholars, diplomats and students worldwide, this outline provides in-depth insights into China’s evolving diplomatic strategy under Xi Jinping’s leadership.
