On Thursday, November 13, World No.1 Wang Chuqin staged a thrilling comeback to beat Lin Gaoyuan in six games at China's 15th National Games in the Macao Special Administrative Region. Riding that momentum, Wang clinched the fourth game 11-5, but Lin bounced back with an 11-7 win in the fifth to extend the match. In the decisive sixth game, the 25-year-old world champion asserted his dominance with an 11-4 victory, sealing his place in the semifinals.

With this win, Wang remains on course for the men’s singles gold medal. He is set to face Grand Slam champion Fan Zhendong in the semifinals, promising a blockbuster clash between two of the sport's brightest stars.
