The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE 2025) kicked off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in the Chinese mainland city of Shanghai from November 5 to 10, bringing together exhibitors and visitors from across the globe.
One standout voice at the expo is Vietnamese youth leader Tieu Thanh. She noted that this year’s CIIE has shifted its focus from pure product displays to enhancing user service and experience. For her, the highlight was not the products themselves but the creative solutions and fresh ideas exhibitors showcased.
Organizers have also streamlined key processes—from visa applications and customs clearance to online platforms and live streaming interactions—making it easier than ever for participants to connect and collaborate.
Reflecting on the expo’s wider significance, Tieu Thanh adds, "The Chinese market is the most promising in the world and the one that any company with international ambitions is eager to enter." For young entrepreneurs and changemakers, CIIE 2025 proves that global trade events can evolve into dynamic idea hubs, fueling new partnerships and innovations.
